Adirondack

Picture Perfect Studio

The website you are visiting, Adirondack Picture Perfect Studio (Adirondack PPS), features two product categories inspired by the people, history and scenic beauty of Northeastern New York’s Lake Champlain-Adirondack Coast.

 1. On the Music page, two audio albums are available on CD or as MP3 downloads. They are titled “Songs and Stories from the Lake Champlain-Adirondack Coast” and “Tunes and Tales from the Lake Champlain-Adirondack Coast.” They feature a collection of eight songs each written and recorded by Marles (pronounced Mar’ lee) Rondeau. Corresponding songbooks of the same names with lyrics, guitar chords, illustrations and background information about the author and each selection are available as well. While recording and sale of this material is prohibited by copyright, Marles’ main objective in this endeavor was to ensure that these special stories, events and people would not be forgotten and to perhaps make some  modest contribution to the culture of this exceptional area. As long as they are not recorded and sold for profit, musicians of all stripes are welcome to use any of these songs in their live performances or just for fun around the campfire.

   2. The Pictures page features a gallery of photos that can be enlarged in several sizes and mounted for wall hanging in a handmade, finished wood frame with a choice of colorful mattings, burlap ribbons and frame colors. A link to the Photo Gallery, stored on the SmugMug website, is found on that page featuring a categorized collection of photos on various subjects including the Adirondack High Peaks, Lake Champlain, “lesser” peaks, noteworthy landscapes and geographic features, seasonal changes, flora and fauna of the area and many other locations and subjects. Visitors are welcome to select a picture for purchase from this collection or simply browse the gallery for their own enjoyment. If they prefer their own work, photographers may also submit their own photos for enlargement, mounting and framing.
